Does it Hurt?
Are the Kennedys gun-shy? Yes it hurts. Your skin is being penetrated by needles to permanently insert pigment. The pain varies from person to person and we like to compare it to a cat scratching you. Typically, we have found that for people new to the tattoo process the discomfort is far less than they were expecting.

How much does it cost?
The cost of your tattoo depends on a number of factors including: size, placement, and color vs. black and gray. For smaller tattoos, we will generally quote you a price up-front. For larger tattoos, your artist may opt to quote you an hourly rate.

Do I need an appointment?
We do accept walk-ins! No appointment is necessary for smaller designs and we will do everything to accommodate you as fast as possible. However, if you are looking for a larger tattoo, we suggest stopping by the shop and speaking with an artist about your ideas. Appointments are suggested for anyone who wants a custom design. A $50 deposit is required to set an appointment.

Do you do cover ups?
Yes, lots of them.

What do I do after getting a tattoo?
During the tattoo process your artist will have a lengthy detailed discussion with you about how to care for your tattoo immediately after the completion of that tattoo as well as long term care. Your job is to listen to them and follow the instructions closely. You will find once you get a tattoo all of your friends are experts about the care of new tattoos, unless your friends are professionally licensed tattoo artists, do not listen to them. Listen to us.
